     The End

So I am guessing many of you close to either me or Adrian already know that it's over between us.

For many of those who don't know us personally, this is why I have not been updating for a long time..

In any case, I don't feel the need to publicise the end of our relationship. If you really DO want to know my side of the story, ask me personally and I will be the judge of whether or not you are in a position to know..

Even though that paragraph just made it sound like it ended with a massive bang, it did not. It ended peacefully.

I am here to blog about this because I feel I need to be accoutnable to many of the people who drop by for a snippet of my life in their routines. Strangers who are curious about how a person on the other side of the globe goes through her life and views the world..

I am also contemplating on continuing on this blog. But with massive changes.Starting with the banner of course.

If you have been following this blog from it's birth, you'd know me I and Adrian built it as a mark of commitment towards each other. But now that that's over, this blog can't be what it used to be...

    * * *

I shall be leaving Melbourne for home in a few days for a few months. I will endeavour to personalise this blog to my own person.

So keep an eye out :)

    For Beverly...

I'm attending Yoga Aid on 15th November, Sunday at 6am (yes you read that right). There would be many Yoga teachers attending that event, as well has yoga enthusiasts and together we are going to do 108 Sun Salutations! One Sun Salutation is a series of 12 movements and 108 of those would probably take all my energy and 2 hours!

So, where's your role in this? You don't have to do a single thing. Just go to my FB event and click on the link, or this link here:

    http://www.yogaaid.com.au/beverlychan

All of you guys who owns a credit card, or all those who lives in Australia, please donate maybe a dollar or two! (I'm not asking for a lot) I'm only aiming to raise 500 dollars because I think most people would rather spend their dollar elsewhere. Any other form of money transfers, or passing the cash directly to me would be okay too!

Currently, friends and family are helping me spread the word.

It's my first charity event and I hope all of you who have a soft side will help me achieve my dream. :)

    Nameste,
    Beverly.

PS: The charity of my choice is Nelune, which is a foundation that provides aid to those who suffers from cancer.

    =_= . . . . .

My mum had just began emailing me the past few weeks.... She's so no fun wan.. I emailed her in Manglish, and she still reply in proper English =_= It's like mailing my uncle instead of my own Mum.. So formal. I might have to start addressing her as *puts on British atas voice* "Mother.." as opposed to the usual "MIeeeeEeeee~~!" (abbreviated from Mummieeeeeeeee).. =_=

And some more leh, her emails no proper paragraphing wan, just dot points, but no dots! Adoi.. Headache can.. Especially when I have to read so many journal articles.. It's taking all I can from sending back a "Paragraphing, MIEEEeeeee, PARAGRAPHIIIIIIIIING~~~~~!!!"

    *fhaint*

So teruk.. How to reply my Mum in formal voice..? =_=|||

    Blast from the Past

I just went and browsed through my old blog. I found it incredibly:

    Juvenile
    Angsty
    Angry
    Emoe
    have I mentioned JUVENILE?

Oh well, I guess the good thing is, I've grown...

The most painful thing to read were the posts on death... Reading it still brings up tears I thought should have dried up long ago.. I can't believe I went through all of that at such a young age..

Serious note to self : I should NEVER ask my 13 year old daughther to help me carry her grandfather's dead body onto the bed... It is very scarring... The clammy, cold, limp body... I can't believe my mum asked me to do that... Why didn't she ask my Dad? Or my 18 year old bro.. Why the 13 year old girl?? Man.. My Mum.. She baffles me to no end..

But yeah.. I thought it was slightly strange for me to have just gone and found my long forgotten emoe posts. Cause my friend just lost somebody close this morning as well.. If you're reading this, I hope you're holding up well..

    Photo Diarrheoa!!

It's that time again, where we play... PHOTO DIARRHEOA~!! *Mad applause!!*

Hehehe.. Not much going on right now since it's my mid sem break and i've been doing NOTHING. Absolutely NOTHING.. And I absolutely love it :) Sleeping at 4am, getting up at 12pm, not eating till 6.30pm, internet the rest of the time, or a 1.5 hour walk/read book/feed geese at the lake/playgroud in the freezing cold wind.. Ahhh.. Life is bliss..

Of course, all those are just signs of procrastination :P

So, I'm just gonna put up random photos from my phone and caption them :)

Maccaroons from Laurent at Chadstone when I wan catching up with my cousin Christine.. I've always read bout maccaroons in storybooks and wondered what they were. I'd imagined them to be bigger and creamier.. But no, these were like slightly bigger than a 50 cent coin and totally weren't worth the $1.80 I paid for EACH.. =_= Well, now I know..

I also had a Christine when I was hanging out with Christine :P The dessert was quite yummy,  but way waaaay too sweet.. I think it had caramel and chocolatey stuff in it.. Too long ago, can't remember liaw..

We went to see a Day in Pompeii at the Melboune Museum. I think it should be pronounced as Pom-Pei-ii as opposed to Pom-Pei. Cause got 1 extra "i"... It was quite nice la.. Good educational experience..

I think I was bored in church.. And I loved that my shoes were sooooo white! They still are! =D Esther threatened to step on them just cause they look so white =_=

I bought this from Mamaduke's cafe in Uni.. Damn ugly right???? If cupcakes could be witches, THIS cupcake would be one. I dunno why.. But it reminds me of a witch :P

And.. I finally bought the cake I've wanted to eat for the longest of time!! Sooo AWESOME! Chocolate ripple :P

I dunno if you can see it, but the yellow blob is a piece of banana. The reason why I took a photo of it is because... I actually dropped it the night before.. And this was like, 5pm the next day or something.. And it was still there =_=

This bus stop, I tell you.. Damn unlucky wan can! I keep dropping all my food here! So stupid! A whole box of profiteroles la, chips la, banana la.... Ish.. It's stop for 623 Glen Waverley at Chadstone by the way..

And I cooked onion-cheese-butter omelettes =D Look at my Oh-So-Perfect omelettes :D *sighhhh* So perfectly circular....

And a piece of mutated orange.. Damn cool lor.. I felt sad to eat it actually.. It's like ET fingers..

And durrriiiiiiannnnn~~!! I only ate one seed.. After dinner, that is all I could afford to eat.. Durians damn filling lor..

And Monday, I went to Chadstone after meeting to chill and read my non-fiction.. Went to Laurent's again. And this time had their Trio. It's a triple chocolate mousse with flourless base.. Very nice! I liked it. It wasn't too sweet :)

And I also had an Iced Chocolate.. Silly of me, since it was a rather windy, cold day. But it was goooood! :)

So yea... That's about it :)

One thing really stupid about the new Blogger editing is that it doesnt' have spell check.. How come so bodoh wan??

    Brain Freeze...

So yea.. My brain is kinda out of order.. Yesterday had a meeting at 11am, insisted by the self centred self appointed group leader. Everything must be his way. We told him, we can't possibly have anything to discuss if you have a meeting that early in the week. But he was like noooOOOoooOoo MUST have meeting, I am not free any other day. Fine. then last minute, he changes the time from 1pm to 11am cause "Oh I have exam" which turned out to be "Oh there's a seminar I want to attend". What a Jerk off.. Then he arrives 30 mins late... WTF!

As if not enough, he keeps changing the ideas and structure of the presentation every minute, expecting us to just do whatever he says. 1 hour into meeting, he's still changing his mind everytime the wind changes. And he refuses to accept any of our ideas, and he keeps trying to force us to accept his ideas even though the 3 of us just keep telling him "IT WOULDN'T WORK!".

In the end, I got so pissed, I told him off (in the most civilised manner I could muster). I told him to "Please draw the line and set what we are going to do. You can't keep changing the plan every minute. You say you want theory, how can we SET the theory NOW when we haven't done our research since you insisted on a meeting so early?"

The jerk had the cheek to say "Well, thess are the things that Jeff (lecturer) said to talk about. I'm just giving ideas, if you don't want to use it that's fine!".

WTFFFF..... I can see right through him. He's so used to having people do everything HIS way just because he's so frickin pushy and assertive. Well, too bad punk, you've just met your match. For one, Jeff didn't say we NEED to talk about those things, it was just in his lecture and we can use it if we want, he said we could do ANYTHING we wanted. And another thing is we called a meeting to set a structure, you can't keep changing structure evey 5 seconds without building it from bottom up. What a jerk...

We acheived nothing in that 1.5 hours... He can just go jerk off...

Meh..Ranting did not make me feel any better..

    Anyway, on with CAMP PHOTOS!

We had games on the second day. While 1 (out of 3 divisions) in our team went out to complete challenges, we had to stay inside to build forts. Each division had their turn in outdoor challenges. I was in Team Africa. The other teams were America, Asia and Europe.

Team Asia's fort... Not bad not bad...

Team America's Fort of Loooooooove... =_= Got mattress wan...

Team Europe's Spiritual Fort? Forgot already, but I prefer to name it the Fort of Nothingness XD

    Last but not least...

Team Africa's FORT!!! Okay la, we dun have name for it but it was the awesomest fort EVERRRR~!!!! V(>_<)V

We even had laser beams for added protection! Muahahhaaha!!

We also had national guards! XD

Needless to say, we won! XD Go Team AFRICAAAAAAAA~! We won like, every single challenge that day save for one where people cheated.. X(

And a lot of people got (shaving) creamed. Sarah got most of it. But Ben Cheng was the worst. He got cornered and creamed head to toe in a layer of cream. He looked like a snowman. Too bad no photos :( I was hiding in the fort :P People hiding in our fort didn't get creamed :P

After that was free time for an hour plus.. When I went to wash my hair cause I had to CREAM MY OWN HAIR in a challenge =_=

    Seek and Save the Lost..

So yeahhh.... Our early day began when Bryan (aka B), came and picked me up at 2.30pm. Yes 2.30 in the afternoon... Cause ETA at Anglesea was 5pm. And then we picked up Joseph on the way to church...

We rondezvoused at church with Ben Chang and his crew (Kevin and Terrence). And proceeded to load up the van.
    \

Little did I know, B hadn't actually estimated the amount of stuff we have and the size of the van and realise we don't have sufficient space.. =_= That was Ben when I aimed my camera at him and called out his name. He turned around and I SNAPPED! XD

We finally made a move to Anglesea at 4.15pm (initial push off time was 3pm) after having played Tetris Level 2 at Rob's place with his massive drum set and guitar and another amp.. Had to take out everytihng in the van and rearrange again =_=

I made a comment on how I finally realise how come the PA team is made up of all guys before me- cause there's so much heavy lifting to do... "Ah.. It's so nice to have men around.. :P"

It wasn't actually that dark la.. The previous photo was me pointing my camera at the sun and having it underexposed :P And this.. Was peak hour traffic.. Just AWFSOME... Haih.. Felt like snails..

After an hour or so of driving, we stopped by to get food.. Cause I promised Ben we can stop by for food :P I think I know how it feels to have a little bro.. It feels kinda nice :P But of course, Ben is a very agreeable boy so who knows right? :P

So we stopped at a BP petrol station because B also needed to get fuel. And I didn't realise we had to bring our own dinner for the first night so I went to get a lamb souvlaki and a steak sandwich :P Cause I only had ONE doughnut that day and I was up since 10am and ran to uni and back just ot hand in my assignment cause of stupid lecturer!! GAH! By some God granted miracle, the petrol kiosk had an adjoining diner!! Woots!

Kev just cuoldn't stop snapping away on his new Ixus.. :P Camera warrrs~! Twas in the parking lot. For some reason, those men decided to unpack in the middle of the parking lot whle we were already late in getting to camp =_=

The skies were just sooo AWESOME when the sun was setting... I couldn't stop snapping away at the skies... While juggling navigating duties :P

Right about here, I realised we were lost.. =_= Don't blame me okay, blame Google maps.  Never update road names.. Cis, the instructions B printed out had totally different names from the names on the road signs =_=

B kept going until he was completely sure we were lost =_= Men... tchtch.. And we stopped by, and Rob's pulled out his GPS. Upon keying in the address, we got a "location does not exist" =_=|||||||||||||||||||||||

Ended up using Joe's iPhone to get on REAL TIME Google Maps instead. And we had our destination marked as a red dot on the screen and us as a MOVING blue dot!! So keeeeeewt~! It was like if I POKED the dot, a giant finger will appear from nowhere and poke our van :P

But yea.. I found out I could navigate quite well with the real time Google Maps :P Discovered new talent :D Wheee!

We finally got to camp at like, 7.15pm. 2 hours LATER than planned. And we were supposed to have a practise session and the campers were supposed to arrive at 7.30pm. Fortunately (or unfortunately) for us, B had the very same map he printed for us attached to everyone's instruction email! So EVERYONE got lost! HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAH!!! (So sadistic of me :P) Everyone eventually started arriving at like, 8.30pm :P

But all in all pretty awesome, we set up in like, 30 mins. Which is pretty dammned impressive given we had to set up 3 speakers, 4 amps, 4 microphones, 2 guitars, 1 bass, the drum set, keyboard, projector and of course our mixer :P

Worship was pretty awesome that night :) So was preaching and closing worship :)

Flower from the next day, on manual focus.. First time I used manual focus on purpose an acheived such a nice shot. Ironically, my 17-80mm lens broke later that day. Cannot auto focus anymore.. X( uber sadness...

    Camp was AWESOME!

If you guys didn't already know.. I went for church J-Evermore Camp over the weekend. I had an AWESOME time :P Twas very fun and spiritually fueling. I was constantly busy with PA and running around with my camera and eating and worship and preaching sessions and games. It was totally non stop activities. Even during free time there were games going down or walks. But I went to wash my hair instead cause I got creamed =_= More on that later..

    For now, the first day..

We went in a friend's Mercedes..

Nah.. Not really :P We went in the church's van :P This was the process of playing tetris level 1. Level 2 was at Robbie's house where we had to get his drum set :P

We had waaaaaaay too much stuff than we could fit in the van. We had like, 3 speakers, 4 or 5 amps, 2 electric guitars, 1 acoustic guitar, 1 bass, 1 keyboard, 1 projector screen, various instrument stands, 2 boxes of microphones and cables, 3 people, and luggages.. By some God orchestrated miracle, we fit all we could in there, and stuffed some other stuff in Ben's and Rob's cars :P

I'm skipping all that went down on the trip there because I happened to upload the nice photos I wanted to talk about and those photos are not from the ride to camp :P

    The next day...

    T'was my cabin :)

I couldn't sleep all night cause the bed was AWFUL! It was the type with planks to support the mattress. It was the plank, space, plank, space, plank type. My bed had ONE plank like, an inch higher than the rest.. I felt like Princess and the Plank.. So I ended up getting up at 5.30am when the birds started singing. I opened the door and was greeted by a cow going "mooooooo~" :D (I stole an extra mattress the next night :P)

Sunrise at the basketball court. T'was sooo nice.... :) It made my day...

Then I proceeded to the kitchen to greet Uncle Edward, Aunty Wai Lee and Uncle Ken cause the uncles and aunties are ALWAYS up early :P And I got meself a cup of tea :) Nothing like a steaming cup of tea and the sunrise :)

And I sat outside at the picnic table for a bit. Enjoying the fresh country air while watching the sun crawl its way up the horizon :) Scarf was left behind by my cousin Maggie on her last visit :P Finally found a use for it.. It's light but very warm :)

After brutally waking up everybody in my cabin at 7.10am (wake up time was 7am!) and doing quiet time, we went for breakfast! Bacon and eggs. Also on the menu was kaya and various other jams. Kaya for the wiiiin!!!

Then it was worship practice! :P Kev's Fender.. So awesome...

Our little mixer... Shot not taken by me :P

Ben on the mike. Notice his phailed buttoning skillz? Clearly sleep deprived :P

Twas some awesome worship session that went down that morning :)

    To be continued.... ;)

    Currently..

Slaving on an assignment which is due tomorrow, 5pm. Approximately... 19 hours away? If my maths brain is still functioning. I've been slaving on this since Monday. Not entirely last minute. But hey, it WAS handed out like, weeks ago..

Anyway, like me, a looooooot of other students are doing this last minute. But unlike me, they can't handle it. Okay, I couldn't really either. If i could afford it I would probably pay somebody to do it (don't judge me kay, I'm frickin sick to the max since like, 6 weeks ago or some ridiculous number like that, can't even breathe, have to gasp for air like a fish out of water..). But heck, I still make it a point to get it done by deadline okei!

Then this bunch of twerps go and email the chief examiner left right front back front and center asking for freaking extensions! And here's what he MASS REPLIED everybody:

    Hello Everyone

Thought I would email you all as I have received numerous requests for an extension to the assignment date.

It does not concern most of you but it indicates the serious nature of your studies and you duty as a student to the course and yourselves. A readingof the unit outline will re-inforce this.

Firstly let me say how disappointing this is especially as you are at Masters level. In addition it shows a basic misunderstanding of how things work. The only way for an extension is to apply using the correct form as described in the unit outline. Secondly it is very restrictive as to the reasons for an extension.

Reasons such as other assignments due and busy at work are simply not acceptable and show a contempt for your studies and your obligations as listed in the unit outline.

I know that assignment has been with you since week 2 and it is now the end of week 9. Asking the day before it is due is simply poor conduct.

You have been informed on numerous occasions by your lecturers' that the assignment has an academic and a practical application, and importantly leaving it to the last minute will result in a poor submission.

As most of you are new to studies at Masters level please be aware the the penalties as listed in the unit outline will apply if the hard copy is not received by 5pm on Friday 18th Sept and the same applies for the soft copy it is due at 5pm on the 18th

Failure to submit both on time will result in a penalty being applied to both and or separately unless a signed form is held by you for the substantive reasons as stated in the regulations.

In addition you should have the courtesy to direct your questies to your lecturers in the first place before contacting me as the chief examiner.

I cannot say how disappointed I am in this behaviour and if this is you then please be aware in the Risk degree this type of behaviour is unacceptable and the highest degree of professional behaviour is demanded at all times.

I will not answer anymore queries unless they are genuine in accordance with the policy

    Michael

I had only the night before mailed my lecturer to clarify on submission methods cause I CLEARLY remember him saying if he receives ONE (ie the hardcopy or softcopy) of the required submission by deadline, we can hand in the next few days it should be fine.

And now, it's ALL screwed.. WTF! This bunch of incompetent fools... Song song ask for extension when it's CLEARLY stated in the instructions STRICTLY NO EXTENSIONS unless if medical evidence for ACCEPTABLE illnesses is provided!

Now I have to slave till late, get up early, go to uni, hand in frickin ass THEN get back and shower and pack for camp... Wasting THREE HOURS of precious SLEEP! !@(@#$($%)#$)%)^#)

    I gots not TYME

I have suddenly within the past few days realise what the burdens are of being a Postgrad student with a life.

Sure, I love my current friends. I love hanging out with them. But at the same time, I kinda wish I was back in my little shell where it's just me, myself and I. Where my free time was of abundance.

I guess I appear introverted at times. But the truth is, I AM an introvert. The extroversion people perceive in me is actually not actual extroversion but just a general want to enlighten and enrich other people's lives. But my fuel runs low quite often.

I just completed the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and I found out (all over again) that I am a, INFJ - Introvert Intuitive Feeling Judging. It put into coherence a lot of my aspects of my character. A lot of the time people think I'm weird when one day I'm super friendly and the next I'm all withdrawn and blending into the wall.

Well, here's an article on typical INFJs. Hopefully people understand me more after reading this (if you bother reading it la).

    Introverted iNtuiting Feeling Judging

    by Marina Margaret Heiss

INFJs are distinguished by both their complexity of character and the unusual range and depth of their talents. Strongly humanitarian in outlook, INFJs tend to be idealists, and because of their J preference for closure and completion, they are generally "doers" as well as dreamers. This rare combination of vision and practicality often results in INFJs taking a disproportionate amount of responsibility in the various causes to which so many of them seem to be drawn.

INFJs are deeply concerned about their relations with individuals as well as the state of humanity at large. They are, in fact, sometimes mistaken for extroverts because they appear so outgoing and are so genuinely interested in people -- a product of the Feeling function they most readily show to the world. On the contrary, INFJs are true introverts, who can only be emotionally intimate and fulfilled with a chosen few from among their long-term friends, family, or obvious "soul mates." While instinctively courting the personal and organizational demands continually made upon them by others, at intervals INFJs will suddenly withdraw into themselves, sometimes shutting out even their intimates. This apparent paradox is a necessary escape valve for them, providing both time to rebuild their depleted resources and a filter to prevent the emotional overload to which they are so susceptible as inherent "givers." As a pattern of behavior, it is perhaps the most confusing aspect of the enigmatic INFJ character to outsiders, and hence the most often misunderstood -- particularly by those who have little experience with this rare type.

Due in part to the unique perspective produced by this alternation between detachment and involvement in the lives of the people around them, INFJs may well have the clearest insights of all the types into the motivations of others, for good and for evil. The most important contributing factor to this uncanny gift, however, are the empathic abilities often found in Fs, which seem to be especially heightened in the INFJ type (possibly by the dominance of the introverted N function).

This empathy can serve as a classic example of the two-edged nature of certain INFJ talents, as it can be strong enough to cause discomfort or pain in negative or stressful situations. More explicit inner conflicts are also not uncommon in INFJs; it is possible to speculate that the causes for some of these may lie in the specific combinations of preferences which define this complex type. For instance, there can sometimes be a "tug-of-war" between NF vision and idealism and the J practicality that urges compromise for the sake of achieving the highest priority goals. And the I and J combination, while perhaps enhancing self-awareness, may make it difficult for INFJs to articulate their deepest and most convoluted feelings.

Usually self-expression comes more easily to INFJs on paper, as they tend to have strong writing skills. Since in addition they often possess a strong personal charisma, INFJs are generally well-suited to the "inspirational" professions such as teaching (especially in higher education) and religious leadership. Psychology and counseling are other obvious choices, but overall, INFJs can be exceptionally difficult to pigeonhole by their career paths. Perhaps the best example of this occurs in the technical fields. Many INFJs perceive themselves at a disadvantage when dealing with the mystique and formality of "hard logic", and in academic terms this may cause a tendency to gravitate towards the liberal arts rather than the sciences. However, the significant minority of INFJs who do pursue studies and careers in the latter areas tend to be as successful as their T counterparts, as it is *iNtuition* -- the dominant function for the INFJ type -- which governs the ability to understand abstract theory and implement it creatively.

In their own way, INFJs are just as much "systems builders" as are INTJs; the difference lies in that most INFJ "systems" are founded on human beings and human values, rather than information and technology. Their systems may for these reasons be conceptually "blurrier" than analogous NT ones, harder to measure in strict numerical terms, and easier to take for granted -- yet it is these same underlying reasons which make the resulting contributions to society so vital and profound.

    Popular INFJs include:
    Mother Teresa of Calcutta
Martin Luther King, Jr., civil rights leader, martyr
Michael Landon (Little House on the Prairie)
    Tom Selleck
    John Katz, critic, author
    U. S. Senator Carol Moseley-Braun (D-IL)
    Billy Crystal
    Nelson Mandela
    Carrie Fisher
    Nicole Kidman
    Jerry Seinfeld
    Jamie Foxx
    Sela Ward
    Mark Harmon
    Gary Dourdan
    Marg Helgaberger
    Evangeline Lilly

    Sweet Surprises (long forgotten)

This morning I was rearranging my little book cupboard because when I pulled something out, everything else fell out. And I found like, a box and a half of chocolate.. Which I had bought like, ages ago and I had forgotten all about them.. And they are best before October.. But I don't feel like eating them XP How unusual.. Since when did I NOT want to eat chocolate?

I just handed in an assignment this afternoon. Gone are the days where I strove for perfection. Now I can't care less.. Okay, I DO care, but not as much.. I remember completing assignments days before they were due.. Now, I start a day before and finish a day before the deadline.

My deadlines for the rest of my assignments are 11, 14, 18, 24 of this month. And I'm pretty sure I have like another 2 more somewhere amongst those dates.. Oh kill me NOW...

    Emoe. . .

Today was Family Fun Day at church.. It's Father's Day here in Australia today. And I kept forgetting because we have it in June =_=

Anyway, I was appointed photographer for the event so I took like, about 300 photos. They had sausage sizzle and some games. Photos shall come later as I have an Assignment due tomorrow at 9pm. Which I have to get done before 10am tomorrow anyway since I can't print it in Uni..

Ben saw my angel photos the other day and asked me to take photos of him. Emo shots he said... So since he was dressed very nicely today, we went for an impromptu shooting session.

Here's an edited version of one of the candid shots I took of him. I don't have enough time to edit it to my satisfaction..

Turns out, Ben cannot do emo pose.. =_= He tried and tried and tried and tried. Will even started shouting instructions at him. He ended up looking either puzzled, or smiley =_= Emo failllll....

Anyway, I have more shots.. We'll see when I have time to edit them :)

    In other news..

I have a lump on the underside of my tongue~! And it is annoying ASSSS~! I have no idea what it is. And don't ask me why my cheeks are so pink/red. They are always like that X( Ever since I went to KL, I discovered my face gets flushed ever so easily. And I also blush very easily and OBVIOUSLY X( I can't even feel embarrassed in private =_=

Anybody knows what to do with the lump?

    FML to the MAX

Today, was an uber FML day.. Why?

For one, I got up TWO hours earlier before I was supposed to. Which meant I only slept for 5 hours - HALF of my daily requirement. And I was ALREADY sleep deprived.

And that's not all, the MOSTEST FML thing was the REASON WHY I got up so early. It wasn't because I was demanded out of bed. It wasn't because some emergency happened. It was because I stirred, and looked at my clock and thought "OH SHIT IM GONNA MISS THE BUS!" and I rushed and changed and bla bla bla and ran out of the house.

WTF SO STUPID! And then, before I ran to brush my teeth, I changed my socks from sleep socks to going out socks and I wear two pairs of socks (cause my feet are extremely susceptible to the cold) and so I put on a short sock on my right foot and then a long sock over it. Then I realised I couldn't find my left short sock. So I searched for a good 1 minute for that sock in a 2 feet square area (that is the only free floor space I have and I remember exactly where I left my sock before bed for me to easily grab and wear). I was so frustrated I was cursing left right and center while hopping on one foot.

    Then,

I looked at my left foot,

and the short sock was on my foot

    =_=|||

So I hurriedly brushed my teeth and washed face bla bla bla and flew out the door. On the way out I informed my cousin Shirley that I'm going out to which she replied "So early?". And I thought.. "Hrm.. Early meh? I usually go out at 10ish on Saturdays wad..". So I proceeded to brisk walk to the bus stop. But by then I was already like, 4 minutes late. But the bus is always late anyway. So I sat at the bus stop waiting.. And waiting.. And waited..

    NO BUS...

Then I thought, what am I gonna do? Walk to the station again??

Then I thought.. Hrm.. Why was it that my cousin said it's still early? And why didn't my alarm ring this morning? And how come the bus is not here yet??

Then came the UTMOST SUPER FML moment of the day..

    I looked at my phone..

    8.50am...

    O

    M

    G

    !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I swear!! If it was possible to kick myself without looking like an idiot, I would've stomped myself to oblivion!

Outwardly I looked calm and contented. Inside, I was like a 5 year old girl cursing over and over and over again, arms flailing, jumping up and down, red-faced and just plain MAD. Like a little atomic bomb - small, but packing a punch so massive I'd send an atomic mushroom cloud of vulgarities spewing into the happy, sunny atmosphere.

And the reason why I thought I was late, was because.. I am such a Denial Queen, I still have my spare mobile (which acts as my alarm) on Malaysian time, which is 2 hours earlier than Melbourne time. So in my sleep laden grogginess, I saw it to be 6.24am, and in speed-sleep-maths added 2 hours on which meant it's 8.24am Melbourne, but then forgot I already added and added 2 hours again. Which made me think it was 10.24am. And the bus leaves at 10.39am.

And to add to all the confusion, my phone clock is 8 minutes early.

    =_=||

This is what I had to do for an assignment...

    I'm a O65-C17-E15-A27-N90 Big Five!!

A personality test... And I have to do a minimum of THREE tests.. A lot of answering seemingly brainless questions. But in the end you have to think so hard =_=

    Hello world~
Very cute merkat (I was told by Ben (Chang) that these are merkats) waving. It reminds me of people in kopitiams waving at their friends. I wonder if any other species wave at their friends?

At the aquarium we saw these turtles.

My favourite shot from the aquarium :)

    * * *

I am currently sitting in the Postgraduate lounge. I believe I've found a human form of Princess Fiona (aka Mrs Shrek) in the ogre form. Except she's brown...

Anyway, my ears are just to sensitive for my own good. I can't use earphones, because they make my ears hurt. And they give me headaches. Or maybe it's just the inside of my ears which also equals my head, hence I perceive it to be a headache.. Maybe I should get my ears checked? I'm starting to think I visit the Docs way too often.. But that's because I fall sick way too often. My uncle in the States called yesterday and was like, "Are you having a cold again? Why are you always having colds??"

I have started Twittering. It was on a whim.. I can't remember why I started. But in any case, just to make it clear, I didn't create the account. Or maybe I did like half a decade ago and forgot all about it. But in any case, I just found an account under junella_chong so I adopted it :P i am pretty sure I'm the only junella chong in the world anyway.

I hereby declare myself the worst (or best) procrastinator in the world!

Hrm.. What are my plans for the weekend?

    - Friday morning-noon I have a meeting! And a Lab Assignment! WTF?? There goes my 3 day weekend..
    - Friday afternoon I will also be baking Almond Cream Slice.. For cell.. Which will be happening Friday night
    - Saturday morning.. No clue.. But I have an Ass due Monday which I am currently (obviously) procrastinating on..
    - Saturday night.. I will most likely be attending church's Journey group's In-Fun-Nite. Ah, the lameness of young people.. Why? Because InFunNite is a play on the word Infinite... =_= Okay these people are 21 and below.. Technically, I'm still kinda in that age group..
    - Sunday morn, church as usual..
    - Sunday night.. hrm.. Hey, guess what? Free time!

On a side note, I had a nice dream last night :)

And today my Personal Development lecturer showed us a video on meditation and we all kinda dozed off in class - lecturer included.. How awesome is that? A lecturer who encourages sleeping in class :D

    Happy thursday people!
